This totally kills the "tactical" element for me, there is none.įor the rest, fundamentally, the game could be a gem, a fantastic gem - but for others like me who can't get beyond the "hit chance" I think it's a sad "could've been". 23/11 - Farming Simulator 22 Save Game - VOL 23/11 - F.E.A.R. but just a coin toss whether you hit, or miss. I can live with some RNG, but this is not RNG as there is no number being generated. There is a reason why other "Tactical RPGs" like HoMM and King's bounty, to name a few, don't have the "missing" mechanic by default (but only added as an added debuff) and the rng is based on "How much damage" rather than whether you will do or incur damage. I can live with attacks having an RNG element where it can do dmg between two numbers, but the fact that you win or lose based on whether you manage to get a 50/50% hit or whether you dodge a 50/50% hit is just. The problem is not the elements of having RNG, but the fact that the RNG is based on *missing* attacks. and a lot, a *lot* is good.īut I just can't get around the RNG factor within combat. Then the amount of "Oh yeah, I'll give you 80 crowns" Because that is totally worth it. And why are there so many forts and walled towns? Finding contracts is a pain, already 3 and 4 skull contracts with few 1 skull and many stupidly hard 2 skulls. Necromancers (3 at once) on day 7 with Geists (it was for a 300 Crown contract LMAO). Tried it and I can't do simple cheap two skull contracts because they send me against over twice as many enemies, quickly overwhelming me.

Though I have to save scum to compensate for that gutter trash luck.Īlso why the hell is a quest for 300 Crown throwing me against a necromancer-aided zombie army on day freaking 7?īTW: Legends mod is quite imbalanced (either that, or I'm unlucky. I'd sworn I'd stop playing RNG focused games because of my horrendous luck, but this game is fun. Rage quit after seeing my guys get demolished, missing all their swings like a bunch of over-grown toddlers while the enemies got through their defenses and shields to hit them directly, because why not. Especially that time where my main archer missed 50% hit chance 6 times in a row (three wasted turns), which has a (rounding up to be nice) 2% chance of happening. It was getting on my nerve, so I took notes of all my hit "chances" and wrote down if either it was a success or a failure during a 1 hour session. RNG is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and this is an RNG-centric game.Īnything at 60ish% chance succeeds about less than 30-40% of the time. Choose if you have purchased certain properties and more.Normally i'd recommend it, really close to doing it too since it can be pretty fun. Edit mission targets for Main, Strangers and Freaks missions. Edit each character's four car garage, hangar, helipad, and what vehicle they have unlocked. Edit each and every stat for each character.
